OUR STORY

Southpaw Custom Carts is a family owned business; founded in June 2020 by Steve Mathews. Steve is a Massachusetts transplant but has lived in Pinellas County for 14 years. He was a graduate of Eckerd College where he played baseball for 4 years. Steve was a left handed pitcher and that's where the name "Southpaw" began.

His desire to work on carts began during the COVID19 pandemic. The time spent working on carts with his son ignited a passion for refurbishing, customizing and accessorizing golf carts.
